Program Rules

Please read our policies below. Upon enrolling your dancer, you agree to follow all of the OSPA terms and conditions below. These policies are strictly enforced to maintain a safe environment for our dancers and instructors.

OSPA Policies

1. 

 Compliance with OSPA Policies. Participant agrees to, at all times during the Activity, fully comply with the policies and procedures of OSPA disclosed herein, as such policies may be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time by OSPA in its sole discretion. These policies and procedures include, without limitation, OSPA Participant Drop Policy, Make-up Policy, What to Wear, Parent Observation Policy, Class Behavior, and Well Policy.

DROP PROCEDURE. Participants must notify OSPA in writing to drop a participant from a class and/or OSPA activities. The drop notice must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the following month's billing cycle. The Participant is solely responsible for a failure to follow the drop procedure.

PARENT OBSERVATION POLICY.  Parents must remain onsite in the hallway able to see their dancer at all times. No exceptions unless your dancer is 15 years old or older. Parents MUST accompany their dancers to the restroom, teachers will not be able to take the dancers to the restroom.

Class Behavior Standard. OSPA's highest priority is the safety and welfare of all Participants in our programs and Activities.  OSPA will recommend a different class for a Participant when their behavior compromises their own safety and/or the safety and enjoyment of the other Participants in the Activity/class.  The following is a non-exhaustive list of behaviors that may subject a Participant to a class change at the sole discretion of an OSPA instructor if the Participant exhibits during an Activity: 

 

Pushing and or Hitting; Biting; Spitting; Foul language and or inappropriate body gestures; 

Running away from the group/instructor and not responding to requests to return; Impulsive behavior that endangers the safety of themselves or others; and Damaging OSPA equipment, accessories, and or property.
